Throughout my life, I have loved working with a wide range of paints and materials, though oils and acrylics are my preferred mediums.

Candle in the Wind
While painting the image of Marilyn Monroe, I happened to see Elton John step onto the stage. The way I interpreted the colors, lighting, and energy of his performance shaped the final piece for me.

I find depictions of Jesus more compelling when they show something beyond the traditional crucifixion. With this piece, I wanted to explore another perspective—one that conveys a different side of the pain usually associated with the subject.

Colour Girl
This painting originally began in black and white. Although it looked nice, it didn’t inspire me. Adding color was a challenge, but in my eyes, it brought the picture to life.
